Progressive Advancement of Soccer Skills
"An opportunity to advance your skills at your own pace"
Beginning in January 2012 and ending before March Break the PASS (Progressive Advancement of Soccer Skills) Program is a great way to sharpen or improve your existing skills and learn new skills. Suitable for advanced players and beginners the focus on individual improvement will increase the skills of each player. Running one weekday evening a week (see schedule to the right) the program will incorporate skills development component as well as small sided games in each session. Each session will be lead by a certified Ontario Soccer Association coach.
The skills component will focus on the techniques of passing, shooting, receiving the ball, dribbling, defending, first touch, and tactics. The small sided games will incorporate the technical skills learned, but in a faster environment, where the learned skills can be practiced at game speed.
The goal of this program is to have the player develop individual skills at their own pace. Players will be encouraged to try new skills, work on existing skills, and become a better player in a fun, activity based environment.
