MAYFAIR AROUND THE WORLD
AT ROSEDALE PARK ON MAY 10TH AND 11TH

Mayfair Eve Preview III
Last year you liked it, you really liked it! The four-hour preview of the rides will be back, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Friday, May 10th. Use the Ride-all-day bracelets for Friday evening as well as Saturday. Our barbeques' will be fired up, and the Steam Whistle Beer Garden will be ready (they promise not to run out this year!).
A perfect evening. The kids get to try out the rides, then bring everyone over to enjoy a BBQ dinner at the beer garden .... no cove, kids allowed. There'll be a mellow jazz combo on the main stage - it's the ideal place to meet up with friends and neighbours. Mayfair 2013 will celebrate cultures, costumes, and food from around the world. So get ready to embark on a voyage of adventure at Rosedale Park on May 10th and 11th. The Mayfair preview evening will be on Friday, May 10th from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. The full all-day Mayfair will run on Saturday, May 11th.
In case you haven't been there the last couple of years, the Friday evening is a giant neighbourhood party you really shouldn't miss. The carnival rides will all be running, and they look great under the lights! There'll be a special regifting Silent Auction. All the Mayfair food venues will be open, for burgers, hot dogs, fries, candy floss - and some special gourmet options. And of course the Beer Garden will be operating from 5:00 p.m. till closing - a great place to meet friends, or bring the entire family for dinner in the park!
Saturday morning starts with the Mayfair Parades which collect kids and families from Rosedale and Moore Park, arriving in the park at 9:00 a.m. Kids who dress up in their costumes from anywhere around the world win prizes in the parade.
The day continues with rides for all ages from Worlds Finest Shows, the Mayfair Midway of games with awesome prizes, bingo, home baking, track and field events, and the Kiddie Zone in the rink - with bouncy castles, face painting, wacky hair, the Round the World pavilion, and the regifting silent auction (see ad on p. x). In addition, there'll be the beer garden, the outdoor food court, live music on the main stage… and more!
Of course, all this happens only because over 1,000 volunteers make it possible. We've started the planning, and it would be great if you'd join our team! If you can volunteer at Mayfair please call our Volunteer Hotline at (416) 922-3714 ext 310, or email our Volunteer Liaison, Katharine Lake-Berz, at volunteer@mooredale.on.ca. We'll be delighted to hear from you!

Shop the Regifting Silent Auction at Mayfair! This is the place for Mother's Day gifts, event tickets, and treasures you'll be delighted to own.
Attention donors… We want tickets to events you can't attend, certificates for services you offer. We want those toys your kids didn't get to open. We also want tiny treasures - that lovely piece of jewelry that really doesn't suit your style, that hostess gift, that boxed set of glasses! These items are all perfect for the Mayfair Silent Auction.
You can drop off your donations till April 30th, on the front porch at 163 Crescent Road (across from Mooredale House.) If you have any questions about what we want or how to donate your items, contact Eleonora at 416-944-9777 or email to eleonora@vanorman.ca. Thank you in advance for your terrific support!

Come and join the Mayfair Team!
Mayfair is the longest running community fair in Toronto. For 66 years, neighbours have had fun volunteering at this great community event. Without - YOU - Mayfair would not be possible. If you are new to neighbourhood, volunteering at Mayfair is a great way to have your family meet other families and support our local community centre, Mooredale House.
