Events at Mooredale

Mooredale's mission is to be a community focal point.  For more than 60 years our members, volunteers and staff have worked together to make that happen.  And this year's no exception. Camp Fair, Mayfair, Garden Tour, New Member BBQ, Terry Fox Run (Rosedale site) and Winter Wonderland are this year's lineup.

As always, new ideas and volunteers are most welcome.

Mayfair, Mooredale's annual fundraiser, began 66 years ago.  Yes .... it started before the Rosedale-Moore Park Association was formed.  Mayfair is the largest and longest running volunteer community fair in Toronto.  For more information, contact Joanna Ingram

Winter Wonderland

December 3, 2011 9:00 am - 1:00 pm @Mooredale

Our annual community event, welcoming the holiday season. Organized by our preschool families, this festive morning appeals to the young and the young at heart. Enjoy seasonal foods, entertainment, a bake sale, cookie decorating, children's crafts, face painting, a silent auction and a visit from the Jolly Old Elf himself! Everyone is welcome. All proceeds support Mooredale Preschool.

Winter Wonderland

Camp Fair

January 12, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Mooredale will host the Annual Camp Fair on Thursday January 12, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Drop in the Main House and visit the exhibiting camps to discover some great summer camp options for children 4-15 years. Free admission.

 Visit www.ontariocamps.ca for information on all accredited day and residential camps in Ontario.

Garden Tour

The garden tour provides a relaxing and informative stroll through Toronto's best gardens.  Lorraine Lewis hand picks Toronto's foremost landscapes.  Frank Kershaw, author and leading horticulturist, provides a fascinating tour and shares his extensive knowledge.  The Toronto Lawn and Tennis Club provides a delicious lunch on the terrace (weather permitting).  The day closes with champagne and strawberries.

New Member BBQ

Each year, Mooredale holds a delicious on-site barbeque for all new members who have joined since June 2011. The invitations are mailed in May, and all new members must register with us before the event.  Mark Monday, June 4 in your calendar (rain date: Tuesday, June 5) and get ready for a great time.

Terry Fox Run

Join us at the Rosedale Moore Park Terry Fox Run on Sunday September 16, 2012 between 8:00 am and noon.  We'll have live music, pre-run warm-up, snacks, route maps and more.
