Daily Details

Each Summer Fun session welcomes children into new and exciting worlds. Things with Wings, Around the World in 10 Days and Planes, Trains and Automobiles are a few examples of past years' fun. Rain, smog or heat alerts? No problem; we just move all the fun indoors, to our cool and spacious Coach House!

Mornings-only children are picked up at 12 noon by parents or caregivers, just in time to have lunch at home. Full-day children, following lunch, are offered a nap or rest time, or books and quiet games and activities, all in the cool comfort of the Coach House. After nap and/or quite time, a whole new range of indoor and outdoor activities and games await full-day campers.

Please note: While the full day is offered until 5:30 pm, parents are welcome to pick up their children before then. A word of advice: this may be your child's first time away from you, so you may want to have a friend register her/his child, too. We will ensure they are placed together in the same small group.

Snacks and Lunch

Our Summer Fun program has partnered with Real Food for Real Kids to provide two snacks and a hot lunch included with the fee for the full-day Summer Fun children and a mid-morning snack for the children registered in the mornings-only program. Real Food for Real Kids prepares food fresh from scratch, using all-natural ingredients.

Please note: THE REAL FOOD KITCHEN IS A NUT-FREE FACILITY and provides specific meal plans for campers with other food allergies.

* The lunch program is also available to mornings-only families who would prefer to have their children stay for lunch.  Please contact the Preschool office at 416-922-3714 ext. 113 or cburgess@mooredale.on.ca for additional fee information and details.

Swimming

A morning session of well-supervised, one-on-one recreational swimming with the Mooredale Swimming Pool Club is part of the Summer Fun program. We employ one of the pool's certified lifeguards to assist us each day in the shallow end of the pool.
