Tennis Stream

Tennis Stream (9-14 yrs)

Campers in the Tennis Stream get all the benefits of the Mooredale Day Camp program, but also receive 12 hours of professional tennis lessons with a Rosedale Tennis Club Pro.

Specialty Activitives:  Athletics, eco adventure, arts and crafts, music and drama, cooking, geocaching and archery are the specialty activities of this group.

Please note:  Tennis stream campers particpate in the Red Cross swimming lessons each day.    

Tennis Stream: Typical Day

  • 8:15 -   Arrival
  • 8:45 -   Mooredale Morning Madness (morning greetings, sing-songs, announcements and news)
  • 9:00 -   Red Cross swimming lessons and camper group activities
  • 10:00 - Snack
  • 11:30 - All-camp free swim
  • 12:15 - Picnic lunch
  • 12:45 - Mealtime Madness (skits and special events)
  • 1:00 -   Tennis Lessons at Rosedale Tennis Club (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
  • 1:00 -   Group and Specialty Activities (Tuesday, Thursday)
  • 3:00 -   Roundup
  • 3:30 -   Dismissal at Rosedale Public School
  • 4:00 -  "Happy Hour" - optional after-camp care, until  5:30 pm (extra fee)
